From Stillness to Sharing: A New Chapter Begins
Focus on Just One Thing This Week
Last week, I shared how a quiet snowfall gave me the gift of stillness—and the space to work deeply on my writing. Today, I get to share something I’ve been holding with great care and gratitude.
I’m excited to announce the release of my newest book:
Suffering in Silence: The Epidemic of Women Who Do Too Much
Before I tell you about the book, I want to pause and acknowledge you.
If you’re reading this newsletter, it tells me something important. It tells me you’re thoughtful. Self-aware. Curious. And likely carrying more than you let on. Many of you have been walking alongside me through these reflections—snowfall, decluttering, stress, slowing down—and I’m deeply grateful for your presence here.
This book was written for women like you.
📘 Why Suffering in Silence Exists
For years, I’ve listened to professional women describe their lives in quiet, careful ways:
“I should be grateful… but I’m exhausted.”
“I look fine on the outside, but something feels off.”
“I don’t understand why food, sleep, or stress feels so hard.”
This book is for women who:
• Do everything for everyone else
• Carry responsibility without complaint
• Feel overwhelmed but don’t want to seem ungrateful
• Struggle quietly—with stress, food, body image, or emotional overload
Suffering in Silence helps put words to what so many women feel but rarely say out loud. It shines a compassionate light on how stress, pressure, and unspoken expectations impact every dimension of wellbeing—body, mind, emotions, and self-trust.
This is not a book about fixing yourself.
It’s about understanding yourself.
🌱 What’s Coming Next
This book is the first in a series, each one designed to support professional women who are ready to stop struggling quietly and start living with more ease, clarity, and compassion.
And next month, I’ll be releasing a course to accompany the book—a guided experience to help you gently apply what you’re reading, at your own pace, with support and intention.
More details will be shared soon, and I encourage you to keep an eye out—you won’t want to miss it.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading, reflecting, and allowing yourself moments of pause. This work exists because of women like you—and I’m honored to walk this path with you.
With gratitude and excitement,
Dr. Peggy
