The Hidden Reason We Keep Going Back to the Fridge

I want to share a story about one of my previous clients. For here, we will name her Sheila.

Sheila came to me tired of fighting the same battle for years — eating at night.

She runs her own business, works long days, and told me, “There are always treats in bowls. I just grab chocolate without even thinking.”

At home, it was dinner… then snack after snack in front of the TV.

She’d tried every diet, lost a few pounds, only to gain it all back — and more.

When we dug deeper, we found the real issue: loneliness.

Her kids were grown, she no longer had a partner, and food had quietly become her evening companion.

With small steps and consistency, Sheila started finding comfort in other ways — reconnecting with friends, joining a walking group, and choosing her treats with intention.

Now she feels lighter, inside and out, and no longer hides behind oversized clothes.

Helping women like Sheila break the cycle, feel confident in their bodies, and finally make peace with food — is why I do what I do.

I have 10 spots open for Breaking the Cycle sessions in the next couple of weeks.

I would be honored if you would share this post with someone who struggles with the same issues and wants to finally feel at peace with their body and their food,.…

Or, send me a DM if you could use some support yourself. I would love to help.

Schedule a 45 Minute Break The Cycle Session to see if it’s a good fit.
