The Holidays: More Than the Hustle

Focus on Just One Thing This Week

The holidays arrive with a familiar rush—lists, meals, gifts, schedules, and the quiet pressure to make everything “just right.” And more often than not, women are carrying the invisible weight of it all.

It can feel exhausting. And sometimes overwhelming.

But here’s the part we don’t pause long enough to notice: why we do it.

Each decoration, each tradition, each carefully placed ornament tells a story. One was a gift from someone special. Another came from a trip years ago. Some mark milestones, losses, laughter, or seasons of life that shaped us. Together, they turn a tree into a living timeline of memories.

When I look at my own Christmas tree, I don’t just see decorations—I see moments, people, and love layered over time.

So as you move through the hustle this season, I invite you to pause for a moment. Look beyond the work it takes to create the holidays and reflect on the meaning behind it. Not the perfection—but the memories. Not the stress—but the joy, connection, and love you’re honoring.

Sometimes remembering why makes everything feel a little lighter.

From my heart to yours:

May your holidays be filled with meaning, gentle moments, and reminders that your care, your effort, and your love matter more than you realize.

Warm holiday wishes,

Dr. Peggy 🎄✨

P.S. If you’ve been wondering why you’re so tired, it might help to know there are different kinds of tired. You could be an Overextended Helper, a Silent Carrier, a Numbed-Out Achiever, or a Tired Leader — and each one needs a different kind of kind care.

If you’re curious, you can discover your tired type here: 👉 https://professionalwomanswellness.com/tiredquiz

If you’re done carrying everything on your own, my Suffering in Silence – 5-Day Course is a gentle place to begin letting some of that weight go.

It is discounted just for you at $27.00. (It will be going up to $47.00 next month) 💗
